about

The first four preludes move through different styles, showing some folk influence, a hint of dance track piano parts in no.3, and generally using chord sequences that are closer to pop songs than classical piano.

No.5 is a bringing together of themes from the earlier movements, woven together by an insistent rhythm that drives right through to the end. These pieces should suit players of around grade 6/7 standard and will hopefully appeal to pianists with a wide taste in piano styles.

For those unfamiliar with Bandcamp downloads:

* You will receive some audio recordings with this download, as Bandcamp is primarily a platform for selling audio. The pdf sheet music is included as an "extra", regardless of which audio format you pick.

* To get your download, you need to click on a link in the email receipt you receive from Bandcamp upon purchase. Once downloaded, the pdf files will be inside a .zip file, usually in the "Downloads" folder on your computer. When you have unzipped this, you should be able to view and print them.

* You won't be able to access the sheet music through the Bandcamp app, which is for listening only.
